Golden Age Expo For Mother's Day (May 9th 2009)

The 1st Golden Age Expo was taken place on Saturday May 9^th 2009 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM at Sheraton East La Guardia Hotel (135-20 39^th Avenue Flushing, New York 11354). There were about 1400 persons in and out for the expo. The organization--Asia Business Center arranged 3 events for this expo to service the seniors: Multi- Cultural Festival (from 12:00PM to 2:00PM), Asian Music Festival (from 2:00PM to 4:00PM) and Golden Age information and counseling service (from 10:00AM to 4:00PM)...more info >>

Asian Job Fair

The New York State Department of Labor, in cooperation with the Asian Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC), will co-sponsor the Asian Job Fair on Wednesday, May 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel Flushing Center, 135-20 39th Avenue, in Flushing. Approximately 80 companies attended the event, offering more than 2,000 job opportunities for job seekers.
